Gin Essentials
THE GLASS
Supposedly everyone knows the famous G&T is served in a long glass. However contrary to all belief balloon glasses and glasses of a similar style are recommended by the gin distillers in the know! The glass helps funnel the botanical flavours upwards, with 95% of the flavour coming from sense of smell, aromas stay longer for a fuller flavoured experience.
THE ICE
The more ice the better. This simply prevents dilution and keeps your gin colder for longer, leading to a more refreshing experience.
THE GARNISH
We have carefully paired each gin with a complementing garnish, but feel free to pair your own. Lemon zest and lime tend to be the most popular fruits; however a slice of grapefruit or a sprig of lavender may be more appropriate depending on the botanicals of the gin.
